Club of alcoholics in treatment is an association composed of families with alcohol related problems, which welcomes all those people who want to stop drinking, then consolidate change style life. Stop drinking is not easy to change their habits, their behavior is even less: it is especially difficult to do alone. The experience of the Club (2200 in Italy and in other 36 countries) shows that "working together" is easier. Together, more not only easy to stop drinking but also change a lifestyle that has caused so many problems and suffering. The Club is a multi-community where families come together weekly to share stories, difficulties, sorrows, hopes, joys and projects.
Work in the Club is based on 'social-ecological approach to alcohol problems and complex in the local community, which means that when a family has a problem, that problem never intended for the individual member who has difficulty with alcohol but the whole family and, more broadly, the community in which they live.
