Speech On Farewell Party Of Students

Film: Lebanon

It was a long time since I saw a film of such rare beauty, fair and committed. The film is very carefully chosen actors and images. Really would not know where to start for the compliments. Perhaps it would be more correct to speak of his message, the message what sucks the war. Not the usual war movie. Here the ordinary soldiers or ordinary people do not suddenly become deadly of rambo. Not in this film. Not in this reality. Here we are thrown into a deadly canister. The only exterior shots are given by the pointer of the trailer. There are bloody gun battles with soldiers or militia, but only civil horribly mutilated and torn from their everyday life. There is no glory in war, crawling in the mud. Peace, ottiente is only when you have a distaste for death, unfortunately this is the bitter reality. There is no time to reflect, load and point, look into the eyes the next you'll have to kill and feel of relief, whether to kill another.
There are no heroes, there can be acts of heroism, every flower dies in the mud, with all its dignity.
